Privacy Policy

Node Modules Cleaner (“the app”) is made by Ananda Rizki (“I”, “me”). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: it doesn’t collect any.

Effective October 28, 2026

Data collection

The app does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data or usage data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting services and no third-party SDKs.

Network access

The app does not connect to the internet. Everything it does happens on your Mac.

Your files

The app runs in Apple’s App Sandbox, so it can only see the folders you choose with the Open panel or drag onto its window, and only while it is running. Within those folders it reads folder names, file sizes and file attributes to find node_modules folders and measure them. The list it shows is kept in memory only and is discarded when you quit.

The app removes a folder only after you confirm. It moves folders to the Trash or deletes them permanently, depending on the option you pick; it never uploads, copies or changes the contents of your files.

Clipboard

If you choose Copy Path or Copy Command, the app places that text on your clipboard. It never reads your clipboard.

Children’s privacy

Because the app collects no data, it collects no data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a future version of the app ever collects data, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
